Statistically, you will get the same amount of corruption, proportional to the time of vulnerability. Memo fields, if they are edited often, are exposed to possible corruption for longer periods of time. A single small change to a dbf record is written very quickly and only the specific field of data is affected. A cdx is much the same unless you are using INDEX ON ... TAG. However, when you change the spelling of one word in a memo with 5 pages of text, the entire 5 pages of text are rewritten to the FPT file.
