Hi, (continued from an old problem)
I display a grid of records in my child form. When I DoubleClick on text1 of Column1 in the grid, I want the record pointer to move and the grid's form to release so I can refresh the parent form with the new record.

I DO the form after a SEEK, then the DoubleClk event of the textbox in the column has thisform.release. After releasing, the parent form has thisform.refresh.

The problem is that the record pointer doesn't move to the new record when I DoubleClick on it. The parent form refreshes with the SEEKed record, not the DoubleClicked record.

Do I need to operate some value with the BeforeRowColChange or AfterRowColChange properties for the grid itself? How do I do this? Or am I completely off-track. Aarrrrgh!
