I'm using this statement just cause it triggered some ranting, I think the word "Combo" in VFP way misused. A Drop Down list is not a combo, its a list box that expands and unexpands into the same size as a TextBox, but with none of the other behaivor (such as typing in text), I'm surprised that a Drop Down List is a setting on a ComboBox and not a ListBox. Where a ComboBox is the combination between a drop-down listbox and a textbox. I read an article in FoxTalk about a "Combo-Grid." Good article, but just that little thing inside you (you know, the same thing that keeps saying "The Milleniums not ending in two days" to every AD you see) says, your not combining a Grid and a ComboBox, your combing a Grid and a TextBox, ect. Just something to add to my other gripe aobut the SET CENTURY syntax: very incidental.
