Do not confuse a primary key with a primary index, they are two different things. In relational design every tabel
MUST have a primary key. That is a field or group of fields that uniquely identifies a record in the table. There should be not exceptions to this rule.
Having a table that does not have a primary key is a disastor waiting to occur.
