Turning a list box into a report.
Happy 2000 all,
I like to give my users quick lists of information. I also allow them to customize what fields are displayed in the list. Listboxes work great for this, but I need a good way of printing this information. Since I don't know ahead of time what fields or what order they have chosen to display the information, it is difficult to create a report to print the data. If I just print each line of data, the columns would be all over the place (no, I don't want to use a fixed width font). Any ideas on how to print this data, preferably using the report writer? Has anyone done something similar to this?
