Alvin, if there are no memo fields, just open the Clipper tables in VFP and then write new indexes (CDX files). This SHOULD work, even if there are memo fields, but sometimes the memos don't import correctly. If this is the case, just create new files in VFP and append the old data.

Actually, this will be the EASIEST part of your upgrade. I've found that user-interface can be a real stumbling point, if users were used to fast keyboard-only data entry and form manipulation. They won't want to use their mice at all.
