Once you have it setup with a good 'merge module' it takes a lot less time to make the setup..you don't have to move a bunch of files around like you to with the VFP one.
The biggest advantage, however, is that it uses the Windows Installer technology, which is vastly superior. It does transaction-installing and is just a lot cleaner when it installs (and uninstalls for that matter). I think that on
www.microsoft.com/vfoxpro they've posted a merge module and an article with it. I haven't read it yet, but I imagine you could get some more details there.
