Yeah, without the original hype and the hard work since then, it would have been a massive event. As it was, it turned out to be a massive preventative event spread over several years.

But wait, there's Monday next, and who knows what that might bring. Then there's Feb 29th. I think we'll be hearing about more failures as the next week progresses, and there will be plenty that we don't hear about except from panicked small business owners who finally realize they've got a problem.
