No, Mike I expected that something as simple as a freaking signature wouldn't be restricted. There is no such indication of this restriction on the Account Configuration page.

The UT has made several stupid decisions in the past, and I'm convinced it will continue to make them in the future. Sometimes bringing them to the light of day has caused them to be fixed and sometimes it hasn't.

Copy/pasting it just becomes a minor annoyance, with the added benefit of persistence.
