Thanks for all the help I got from the UT for my project.
I will appreciate if some-one can answer me about the following.
I'm exporting my reports to an Excel File. After I export, I make that WorkSheet and WorkBook protected and save the same file to MyDocuments folder on the User's Local Drive.
The main reason of protecting document is to prevent any changes in the data. This report is basically our Invoices which we want to send as an attachment to our group offices in various countries, so we donot want any ammendments in this Excel document.
Now, even the user's can not write on the same excelsheet (as it is protected) they are able to Copy/Cut the data, and paste on another WorkSheet and modify.
I tried to stop this by setting ENABLESELECTION property of Excel WorkSheet to xlNoSelection. By doing this I can prevent any selection on the Worksheet.
But the problem is once I save and open that worksheet, it resets the property and enables user to select the data.
How can I make EnableSelection property setting permanant, or anybody has any other idea of doing this (Securing Excel WorkSheet agains Copy).
