As usual, when it comes to that level, we have to come up online and write a statement. That is your right to know that some statements which are written by some users may be totally wrong when it comes to the way UT are run. We receive, as usual, some emails from users who want to know the foundation of it, so we go online to make sure all knows about it.

A simple statement about a relation between MS hosting the MVP program on UT has generated into a snow ball.

Here's the real fact.

As of today, MS has hosted the MVP program on UT with success. That has been the case since our initial agreement with them on May 1997. MS is still continuying to host the MVP program on UT. We always had a good relationship with them about MS monitoring aspects of UT, enhancements for that, confirmation of new and retired MVPs, suggestions, exchanges of phone calls, etc. We are still looking in that direction. In no situation, the fact that MS hosts the MVP program on UT was ever related to the fact that Fournier Transformation has created an initial mandat of 2.5 years to offer a free PUTM to MVP from May 1997 to Dec 31,st 1999. This is totally not related. In that agreement, we have the flexibility to show the banner add on the main page which has been approved by MS.
