Who mandated you to offer a free PUTM to MVP's. And, with respect to the mandate, if it has nothing to do with the UT hosting the MVP program, it begs the following questions:

1. Why did you offer the free PUTM's to MVP's in the first place? Were you
asked by MS to do so?
2. Why did you stop offering the free PUTM's to MVP's?

If you are hosting the MVP program, and further, advertising the fact that you are hosting the MVP program, why on Earth would you eliminate PUTM's for MVP's.

I mean, if you are going to take advantage of the advertising aspects of the MVP program, which by the way, no other on line community does this, why would you take away the PUTM's.

As for providing reports to MS, big deal. You already have online reports that monitor activity. To tag who is/is not an MVP is a trivial task. If MS thought enough to allow my on line community to be an offical support site for VFP, well, I would be kissing some major ass..... First off, I would say thank you to MS. Next, I would be sure that any and all MVP's would be encouraged to frequent the forum. With Compuserve in a shambles, and the news groups being in a perpetual shamble, you have a golden opportunity here. Providing reports to MS and getting feedback from MS is not a big deal...

Instead, you choose to take away the PUTM for MVP's, and at the same time, ride the MVP Program coat tails???

Doesn't seem fair to me... You really can't have it both ways...

Make all the money you want to Michel... However, when it comes to making the MVP program your personal whore..... I am not going to let you get away with it.......

As of today, MS has hosted the MVP program on UT with success. That has been the case since our initial agreement with them on May 1997. MS is still continuying to host the MVP program on UT. We always had a good relationship with them about MS monitoring aspects of UT, enhancements for that, confirmation of new and retired MVPs, suggestions, exchanges of phone calls, etc. We are still looking in that direction. In no situation, the fact that MS hosts the MVP program on UT was ever related to the fact that Fournier Transformation has created an initial mandat of 2.5 years to offer a free PUTM to MVP from May 1997 to Dec 31,st 1999. This is totally not related. In that agreement, we have the flexibility to show the banner add on the main page which has been approved by MS.
