>hello,
> For special reason, I need to send print job to a ASCII file and run a batch program to send the text file out in a fax server. However, after I save the print job to a Ascii format, all the graphics are gone. Does anyone know a way to avoid that??? thanks.

Sherry, an ASCII file does not contain any formatting or graphics at all - that's the whole idea of an ASCII file. If you want to send printed output to a fax server, you need to create output formatted to the fax server's printing standards - for example, WinFax provides a printer driver that formats output for sending through the fax, with all graphics in the standar fax representation.

Your choices are (1) give up the graphics and send ASCII, (2) format the output specifically for sending to the fax program through an appropriate printer driver, or (3) use some set of services available through your fax server to convert some other output format that contains the necessary graphic detail for output outside of the print stream. Since I don't know what fax software you use or what capabilities are available, it's impossible to give a more detailed answer.
