Who woould want to? Perhaps nobody every told you [in a thread that is], is to avoid something you do not like -- thread drift -- not to mention [and primarily] getting into a war-of-words with you.

As a SysOp, I admit my bias toward the overall support of this forum. But as a SysOp, one of my duties is to monitor threads such as these. People do want to read your technical threads and that is a great compliment to you, but many also do not want to reply [jump in] to the other threads because it just is not worth it if they disagree with you. I could care less, either way.

I am sure you have noticed, but in the past, many of these threads would have been frozen. But one of your [and others] influences as a previous SysOp was no censorship. You can be persuasive and have the ability to argue your points well. If you tell someone they have to do something [baseball bat approach], hell will likely freeze over before its done regardless of the urgency or critical nature. If asked or talked to in a rational manner, people will take that long walk off a short pier and enjoy the swim.

Trying to be objective, I do wish Michel would reconsider his decision and go back to providing free PUTM to MVPs. To me, that is a major drawing attraction to this site.
