>Well, one case in point is all this threatening you like to do. You told Mr. Fournier that you "...weren't going to let him get away with it..." You said in your message that I'm "treading on dangerous ground here." Your professional standing might give you leverage and influence that you could use against Mr. Fournier but I think there is little you could do about me. You are a very intelligent man and you certainly must know what you do and how you act here. I needn't explain your actions to you. You are energetic and I, for one, like that, but you press your points too hard and too far.

>As far as staying on topic, perhaps you are right. The original topic had to do with the discontinuance of free PUTM for the Microsoft MVP. Could you tell me this, did the MVP's have to pay to use the FoxPro forum on Compuserve when it was "the" place to be to learn about FoxPro? I did and my company now pays for my PUTM. Being able to look up past threads and read them have been invaluable. Microsoft negotiated a 'freebe' for you with Mr. Fournier that is now over. I understand the suggestion that free access for the MVP's will be a boon for the rest of us. Do you expect that the MVP's will abandon the Universal Thread just because they have to pay for PUTM like the rest of us?

Gregg,

Compuserve MVPs all got free flags and as long as you stayed inside of any forum you had that flag the meter was off. If careful your bill would be next to nothing for almost unlimited CI$ access.

I was one of the junior archivist to "Lisa The Whip" *g* and we all got free flags that way as well.

Best,

DD
