Fred,

At least with Word/Excel, a fairly large percentage of our users may have it already on their machines, but now the problem is: which version? :(

The expense is a one-off (like buying VFP/VS), as it comes with an excellent OLE runtime engine (and an ActiveX control as well). The installs I've done have been pretty straightforward. The help file details which files need to be included and which registered and so on. It does add to the size of the app's footprint quite considerably though - a full runtime install with all of the export possibilities included comes in at over 13 Mb.

Cheers,

Andrew

If we were to introduce Visual FoxBase+, would we be able to work from the dotNet Prompt?
