Post; I'm certain that people will let you know if they have problems with it. Just qualify your statement as an opinion, not the truth as revealed by St. Atilla, whose teachings clearly drive the behaviors of many people here.

Don't try to say it in a roundabout manner; John's problem is that you'e not stated clearly what you want, even if it is unpleasant and unpalatable.

If you don't want to expose yourself to John's response, don't post. The worst thing to do is to say "OK, let's have a private conversation" and carry on a dialog in another language. makes it appear that you'd rather not say anthing publicly, but "just wanted to let us know you're not done".
