Since the setup wizard for VFP5 doesn't create a package installable directly to netware, the OCX registration is poor, and I don't have a complex project, do i need the setup wizard?

Can i manually copy the .exe|.dll|.scx|etc. files directly to the installation site? (assuming i have no ActiveX controls to register)

Would that be considered sloppy or lazy development?

I like using wizards to save time on a process I already understand, but i don't really understand the project distribution process. The setup wizard has abstracted the how & why of distribution, and provides no insight into what i'm actually doing to the target machine.

What do i need to know to distribute my project without the setup wizard?
