Let me try my hand here at creating some understanding among us all. The owner does have the right to do as he pleases, and I believe John recognizes and respects that right, but also feels the need for more, and as I understand it, is exploring real solutions as far as what do people like about this forum, and what could be improved on. So it's not just complaining, but rather there is action on his part to rectify what he sees as wrongs that need corrected.

The good thing about the 'tit-for-tats' discussions is that they have remained within the 'Chatter' section of UT, which is reserved for general chatter of any sort. If you're looking to post questions and get help, perhaps the chatter section is not the place to be looking for it.

As a side note, I do not think it is Johns goal on UT to enrage and offend people. He does have a dominant personality (and we're not talking borderline here... it's WAY on that end of the spectrum), and different personality types respond differently to any given situation. For example, when his opinions are challenged, he is eager and willing to do combat to prove that he is correct.

This is just my 2 cents for this thread. Just wanted to make sure everyone is understanding that people are different, so lets allow for that and take everything we read on here with a grain of salt.
