Thanks for your help, the suggestion to build a simple app is what helped me find the problem. I can work with this, although I would rather hide the first screen.

Not sure if it will make a difference or not, but I hide the VFP _SCREEN with a directive in the config.fpw file:

SCREEN=OFF.

But I don't use .apps that need to hide the screen.
