MSDE is so new I'm not sure if anyone klnows all there is about it yet. I believe that it will be part of Win 2000 so clients will already have it. Work done with it is directly transportable to SQL Server, so if a project starts using MSDE and then gets too large for MSDE SQL Server can be dropped in place without changing much of anything.
