Hello... Happy millenium to all.. I have a bit of a
problem. The get statement is still on the 19th century.

When you encode a date on an @..get statement say:

m.MyDate = {" "} && Initialize
set cent on

@ 1,1 get m.MyDate picture[99/99/9999]
read

This procedure gives me a "01/03/1900" when I just type

"01" for the month
"03" for the day
"00" for the year

It is supposed to get the system century and then place it
on the century part of the date.

This should technically give me a "01/03/2000" after
exiting the read but instead, it placed "19"...

with Visual FP issuing the command "set cent to 20"
does the job... but I'm afraid FPW 2.6 and FP for DOS
does NOT have this command...

Please help... :(
