Thanks Roxanne. I actually hit the 200 member mark today, and at one point this afternoon there were 19 members logged into it. Another feature of the group is the 'newsboard'. It really hasn't gotten much use yet, but it's basicly a threaded messageboard like a newsgroup. It's not the best thing in the world simply because there is no search feature, but thus far all questions posted on it have had a reply pretty fast...so at least people are checking it regularly.
Another resource, as I mentioned eariler today, that I'm involved with is
www.vfpguru.com. The current site is being totaly reworked...the IP of a mock-up of the new one is
http://208.247.237.125/. Based on what's going on with that one, I'd say its going to be fantasic...not to mention free. I know that Stephan VanDyke has been working for quite sometime getting this site to a point where it's 'user friendly'...and he's working day and night the rest of this week in an attempt to get the new system flying by eairly next week. I hope to see a lot of traffic on the site. We realize one of the roadblocks is the fact that it is brand new, and therefor lacks content. I personly plan to write an article about using the new Visual Studio Installer with VFP for it, and with any luck at all others will post files, articles, etc., on it and start using the messageboard system. Keep in mind that he's still developing it, so if you've got any suggestions for him..now's the time!

>Hey here's a plug for Victor's ICQ Active List for VFP... there's 190 folks on that list (I think thats what the number is for) and it opens up, on average, atleast 3-4 opportunities a month for me to direct new VFP developers to net resources & offer help. Plus the latest ICQ software lets you manage Active List membership real easy.
