Ed,
>That's too ambiguous and general.
But, it's my whole point I'd think. Some people do not do well when there are "ambiguous and general" features in their relationships with others. People are not digital. People are ambiguous at best, aren't we.. *s*
We programmers sometimes do not deal well with ambiguity but that ambiguity is the essence of life and until we can deal with it I seriously doubt that we're going to really excel at our profession. It's our task to derive patterns from those ambiguities.
I have deliberately avoided giving you specifics in my request because I very much want to deal with the whole issue of ambiguity as it related to interpersonal communication - something that a place like the UT is entirely dependent upon.
>Add here that I don't perceive all linguistic nuances and the result is close to zero.
Right. These nuances are to a large degree, I think, what have caused you no small amount of unnecessary aggrivation. These are some of the issues I thought we could explore and help you and others to better understand each other. I'd very much like to hear what your observations have been about these "linguistic nuances" and what uyou have learned from them. After all, you are the one who has had the opportunity to view two cultures, not me, and so you have the information, not me.
