I mean the subject of the thread. had you read it you would've seen that I never said there was anything wrong with the SEEK command or the SEEK() function. That side discussion was started by a question from someone else within the context of discussing why the SET FILTER command is often misused.
You asked me why the SEEK comamnd would be considered not a good choice, I asnwered you with examples of where the SEEK command could be an incorrect choice. From there the rest is history, you got upset about something and started with thread drift accusations.
