As matter of fact, I did read it. I started with VFP when VFP 3.0 came out, and prior to that I hadn't done any Windows programming at all, just DOS stuff, plus I didnt know foxpro, but I did know DBaseIV. I spent about an hour getting the 'quick rundown' with a fellow programmer, went home, read the book overnight, and the next day I could do VFP...mind you nothing ultra complicated, but I could do it. The book is VERY basic, but that's a good place to start, eh? At least that way you can learn how to create forms, understand what the .dbc is, and so forth.
