I'm so ashamed!!!You're absolutely right, Scripting.FileSystemObject handles this nice and neat, no mess, and lots more.
(Besides, I've gotta give the new WSH converts a chance to show it off. People are getting tired of me muttering about the wonders of the WSH!!!)
