I dug out some of my early code on this (VFP3 days) and saw that I had apparently tested the grid-in-grid scenario and quickly abandoned it. <g> It would be nice to have a Flexgrid type control for Foxpro's native tables and cursors. Something that could show one record on more than one row. Maybe having a "+" sign next to it that would allow the user to drop-down the second (or more) rows for that one record. Or, extending that out... to have a grid that would take a relationed set of tables and show them as:

+table1fields ....
+table2fields_record1 ........
-table2fields_record2 ........
table2fields_record2 ........
-table2fields_record3 ........
table2fields_record3 ........
table2fields_record3 ........

Well, you get the point. I've had terrible problems with Foxpro's grids but the users really want as much info on the screen as possible at one time without the inconvenience of scrolling horizontally. It'd be much easier to show another screen when double-clicking the row in the grid but that's not what the users want (or need, in many cases).

>You are right. I hadn't noticed that the textboxes weren't selecting on entry. I am breaking the info into a couple of columns with controls for multiple text boxes and labels but am not really happy yet with the truck scenario (currently 20 textboxes in a control) have you tried a grid in a grid? I am getting some funky results from that but havn't spent much time trying to sort that out yet.
