Are you by chance creating a PUBLIC object from inside your form? This can cause the DS to remain open. There is a KB article on this issue. I can dig the number out if you need it.

>I am getting an unknown data session to remain open after closing a form. Apparently some tables continue to be referenced which interferes with other processes with the application. The data environment contains about 15 table and views. The form creates 2 cursors using SQL-Select but only when a particular process is executed from within the form. The cursors don't exist until the process is executed and are not part of the data environment. The unknown data session remains when the form opened and then immediately closed. How can I identify what is keeping the data environment from closing completely and releasing all tables?
