This thread is in chatter, chatter is for off product discussions, if you don't want to spend time with them then don't read them.

Many of us, I as one, use this place as the "water cooler" in my office. I work alone in my basement and get to talk to other developers on an infrequent basis. I hit the site between 5 and 10 times a day for about 10-15 mintues each time. I enjoy bantering with my colleagues as well as the technical discussions. If I am particualrly busy, I have no problem with not coming here as much or as often.
