Well. The original version I published was really only meant for 2-digit year entry. I added the 4-digit support later, but still in the same way as 2 digit support, ie. supporting a rollover. The purpose of 4-digit support is merely if you originally had 2-digits and for your customers confidence expanded date fields to 4-digit years, so that they can see that you are really doing a rollover. :)

The problem with 4 digit entry and no rollover is that in this case the date is valid and by the time the VALID snippet is executed, FoxPro has already converted the date into 19xx.
