It is a many sided issue for me and other MVPs. One side is what you refer to, the other side is really giving a damn about folks getting good support and not wanting to see any group of people held in some kind of higher standard than others when the best answer to any question could come from anyone.

Yes, you would see MVPs correcting what they preceive as an incorrect answer, but that should be seen as anything different from anyone doing the same thing. When a dialog like that starts, folks should really watch the dialog, the supporting arguments, and draw their own conclusion from the content of the arguments not the individuals in the discussion.
