Hi Terry,

>Thanks Matt. I didn't know about the HotSend restriction. That will feature promonantly in my report. Anyuni looks like the front runner to me also.

Well, regarding HotSend, your mileage may vary.

We were producing a shrink-wrapped application, and intended to distribute HotSend with the product. We liked HotSend, because it could print a report to a self-contained executable which could be emailed to anyone - even those who did not have the HotSend viewer installed.

My client was negotiating with the makers of HotSend to produce a customised version of HotSend and a price was agreed. HotSend, some weeks later, backed out of the deal. I don't know the reason for this.

My understanding is that HotSend cannot be distributed commercially, although it is free for personal use. You may wish to check with the folks who produce it, because it is an excellent product.

>Ed suggested I check Encapsulated PostScript & GhostScript viewer which I will.

I don't have any experience with those. We fancied printing to HTML, but we weren't satisfied with the layout results from the various packages we tried [including Amyuni]. One problem with HTML is that some of our reports contain graphics - we thus end up with an HTML file and a bunch of graphic files to distribute. Primarily, we were emailing reports, so it was much simpler for us to produce a single file for the report.

Best.

Matt.
