OK. What I was thinking you might be able to do is display the trucks as "graphics" in the grid. Each truck gets it's own column in the grid. If you make them small enough, everything should be able to fit. I think you're going to have problems fitting all this on a normal sized screen. You might have to bump the resolution up and have them use a larger monitor (17"/19").

Another suggestion is to actually sit down with the people that will be using the software (in your case, the dispatchers) with a computer and ask them how they'd like to see the information displayed. As they start making suggestions, build a sample form for them. You can prompt them (and they should easily be able to see) if there are space problems. I've found people a lot more receptive to UI changes when they realize the problems involved. Plus, they "buy in" to the UI so they tend to be happier with it since they had direct input into how it looks. You might find one of them that has a really creative solution to this problem - one that will be "doable" and will make them happy at the same time.
