Thanks, Jim. I believe that this is an area where a lot of Y2K problems will be "discovered." Data that comes from somewhere else (in this case from an RS/6000 distribution system, FTP'd to another system for Fox processing) is not so easily changed. My solution yesterday was to let the Fox processing program continue to do its thing, then add 100 to the year portion of the date filed in the DBF after the data is inserted.
