Hi everyone,

I have a program that stores routines (prg file stuff) in a memo field of a table (there is a good reason for this!).
When I want to run this routine, I copy the text into a file called temp.prg then compile it and run it.
The small problem I have is that as the file compiles, the status box flashes onto screen. I would like to stop this.
I have tried the following methods:-
SET TALK OFF
SET CONSOLE OFF
but neither work. Anybody have any other ideas ?

Alec Dearden.
