Strange, firstly in the development environment if I try to compile any old file with the commands
SET TALK OFF
SET TALK NOWINDOW
COMPILE xxx.prg

I still get the 'thermometer'.

To double check my program I inserted the SET commands just before the compile within the program and I still get the thermometer.
Why should mine be different to yours ?
