I work with CodeMine but I never (really) worked with Codebook. I tried to work with Codebook but had problems so I forgot about it and it was with VFP 3.

Did you download the Demo about CodeMine? Do you have specific questions about it? Post your questions on their site (http://www.codemine.com) or here. I know that I'm not the only one on the UT to use CodeMine.

My feedback is only positive about it. You don't have to master everything before being able to make an application with it. The manual is clear and there is a good tutor covering the major things about the framework.
