As a statistician, I can tell you MR is not a trivial matter. It requires inverse matrices, and such. I do a lot of statistical programming in vfp, but MR is something I probably would not attempt (unless paid big money :)

We use SAS for it here. It's possible there could be something cheaper out there that could help you, though...try a web search?
