Marcia, Grid did not have focus in the first place. I have seen this before. The Grid has had all kinds of bugs in it and this just seems to be another flaky one. It acts as if it doesn't want to relinquish control of the records while I'm doing an update on the records or to be more exact like it's trying to repaint in the middle of my changes. Then it causes a conflict on the same record. If you perform the same function while the debugger is running in the background the error never occurs. Looks like a timing issue.
