I'm at my hideaway down in Alabama for a few days of heads down programming time in a quiet setting. Just unloaded everything from the car, hooked up my NT Server development machine, and flipped the switch.

Partway through bootup, I saw a message something like: "Boot disk trashed... put in that little recovery diskette that you never got around to making, and hope it all works out OK." (not exact words *g*).

After wandering around the house a few times in disbelief, I took the cover off and found the hard drive cable just slightly out of position. A little push, a quick prayer, and voila! Back in business.

I *really* didn't need that kind of situation, and now I am VERY THANKFUL!
