Hi Everyone

I have a field in a table that is C10, and contains codes in a sequence of 2 chars(5 codes held in this field). I have a form with 5 combo boxes and I want each combobox to pick up 2 chars from the field as it's controlsource so that each combobox displays each of the 5 codes in the field, so one would be the 1st 2 chars, the 2nd would be the 3rd and 4th chars etc. etc.

I was thinking of assigning a variable to the controlsource and have the variable contain the 2 chars, would this be the best way to do it, or is there another way.
