No, we don't check to see if they are already there, but we do this for a reason. When we issue the CREATE TABLE command, it wipes out what is there (or is should, if it is not locked by something). This way we are sure that the data being reported is current. Good, bad or otherwise, this is the path that we have chosen.

I have checked the data session while running the app and these files are not showing as being open in any data session. I have also checked the files through the windows explorer to see if there were read only, and they are not. I really think that Crystal is not releasing these files (I think that I read something about temp files not getting released by Crystal).
