First I want to thank Jim Booth & Garret Fitzgerald for their fast reply!

I think I'm closer to the sollution, but now I face an even greater problem:
When I connect to the database via ODBC it asks an login-name and password!

(Ok you'll think I'm trying to hack this database, but I only want to help someone whose been cheated by a software vendor.
The reason is : a friend travelled specially to England to buy a special cd with this big database. The vendor said he could use this data with MS Outlook. When he returned to Holland he found out that the software didn't work that way at all.
He asked me if I could help him. I thought that ODBC-would do the trick and Visual FoxPro works wel with databases and MS Outlook.

If there's no way to enter the database without the password, then my friend wasted a lot of money (about $750!!)

So the question is: Is there a way to retrieve the user & password for the Jet Database OR is there a way to bypass this system?

If there's no legal way, then there's no way at all...
