I've never noticed any slowness, but I'll defintely keep that in mind.

I guess the main reason I do it this way is to keeps things simple and generic. I put the code in my base pageframe class so my data management classes just call the same refresh method. This way they don't have to figure out which page to refresh.

Gonna take a look at David's pageframe objects.
