Check to see what happens when foxpro starts up normally. Are you running any prg's to set up your environment. My guess is its a path issue. When you double click on a prg file and foxpro starts up it probably sets the default path to the directory of the prg, whereas normally the default path would be the foxpro home directory. Then when it tryies to execute a startup prg in the home directory it cannot find it.
I have not tested this or have any knowledge if foxpro really works this way buy I have got this error before and I just figured that was the problem but I never took any time to worry about it since I hardley ever start foxpro that way.
