Does anybody else here think it's just a bit unfair that the Hacker's Guide refers constantly to a CD, but none is shipped through Henzenwerke and Digital River?

I have a real problem with this. Only in one small place at the back of the book do they talk about the 'benefits' of downlading vs. a CD. In my opinion, it's the height of cheapness disguised as 'giving you the latest info'.

If they really feel thatr way, send a CD, then offer patches on the Website. I find it particularly annoying that they didn't even bother excising the references to the 'CD' in the book. I have to take the download time and effort to get something that should have shipped with the book. For the cost of the book (probably the most expensive one I've ever bought), I don't think it's too much to expect the CD mentioned in the book.

Am I alone in this thinking?
