I know a lot of people who use SQL Anywhere and swear by it. But, the point I was making, is that MSDE has a direct scale-up path to SQL Server and that is what makes it attractive. For workgroup databases, SQL Anywhere is the superior product.

>I have not tried MSDE. But it its a sql server lite, you are much better server by a product such as Sybase Anywhere, unexpensive, easy to install and scalable to the workgroup (50 users max). The size of the exe 1Mb!
