About the only chance you have is to either use the driver for the specific printer in use, and limit yourself to the native fonts, or to define a Generic/Text Only printer in Windows, define the necessary control functions in the Windows Printer setup, and again limit yourself to the fonts supported by the Generic/Text Only printer driver.
