>Thanks - I do not have Visual Studio - I am running VFP 5.0 - can I download a service pack for this from Microsoft to overcome this problem? Do you know what causes it to happen?
There are service packs for VFP5.0. Look for Visual Studio 97 on Microsoft's site, and their service packs should be listed. The service pack for VS97 contains the changes for VFP5.0.
The error is caused by memory allocation, I think, tends to happen more frequently when there are a lot of applications open.
